Booklist for Studying the I Ching

The I Ching is a powerful Oracle System. I have been using it for over 30 years and have found it to be quite accurate in detailing and guiding one on the path, the Tao, the middle way.

With the many challenges that we all face, it is great to have some assistance to see what sometimes we cannot see because we are so blinded by our own expectations.

We live in a world where things are changing rapidly, right before our eyes. What was modern today is passe tomorrow. The technological advances that have been made just over the past 50 years are phenomenal. But one thing that remains constant is our journey towards wholeness and understanding who we are in this time/space continuum.  The I Ching book of Changes never gets old or outdated. It can be applied to modern times as well as being Ancient, it seems humanity may change shoes but the path of the Tao remains the same.

Another great thing about the I Ching is that it is incorruptible. Unless you are able to determine what is the best reading for each situation you may find yourself in, it really doesn't work to try to make a certain reading happen! 

I.E., when my children were young, I taught them how to use the Oracle. One day, one of my sons wanted to go outside, so I told him to toss the coins and see what he got for an answer. My reason was twofold. One, I wanted him to get more practice in using the Oracle and understanding how it works, and Two, I didn't want to have to say once again the big "N" word, lol, I mean "NO"! So he does the reading and thinking he knows what are the so-called good readings and the so-called bad ones, he made up the reading Hexagram #42 into Hexagram #50. What he didn't realize is the changing lines impact on the reading just as the Hexagram itself does. And while Hexagram #42 is called increase, it did not necessarily mean he should go outside. Not understanding that #42 is about Love seeking no thing in return, he could not understand how such a so-called favorable hexagram did not mean he could go outside!!

Below is a booklist of some of the books I've studied and found quite helpful. I use a variety of references so that I can get the best understanding out of the reading. Over time, I became less and less dependent on the books, and more on my intuition but initially, the books are great references. What I like about them is that they each have their own perspective on the Hexagrams... You can use them for various reasons in various circumstances. 

The book I strongly suggest for anyone starting out is the I Ching Workbook by R.L. Wing.  It has a good combination of the modern and traditional. It has a very good section on how to use the oracle. There is a chart of the Hexagrams and in the back there are a few pages for writing and documenting the readings you get. I have only one problem with this book is the binding of it. So I suggest you get a binder with three holes in it, and take the book out of it's original binder, 3-hole punch it and place it in the binder. Otherwise the book will eventually fall apart and the pages will fall out. Content is great, binding sucks, lol. You can pick a copy of this book up from Amazon.com.

Thirty years ago, there were few books to chose from. Now you can find the I Ching in your neighborhood library and actually do readings online at this website.. www.tarot.com. There are a host of websites that discuss the I Ching along with a host of Youtube Videos on them. Here is my list for your perusal. So, instead of having all them choices go with the one that calls you to it. It probably is the best book for you to get. I strongly suggest that you keep a journal of all your readings for posterity's sake. When you look back over them years from now, you will see the choices you made and how you managed the situations that came up. And basically, did you follow the advice?? Or did you assume something else was being told to you? Did you ignore it or take the readings seriously?

The I Ching (Yi Jing) is an amazing Oracle. You can use this oracle to consult about anything that you wish, from the ridiculous to the sublime. All you need is the desire to find out. However, there is a technique to consulting the Oracle that will make for the most effective query and the most understandable responses.

In this exercise, I have asked several questions, which is one of the most effective ways to consult the Oracle. Keep in mind, the I Ching Oracle system is like a council of Elders. Though there is great wisdom in the responses, the responses are not given in a haphazard way, but in the manner of a discussion. The I Ching Oracle seems to be aware that our vision is limited as we are corporally grounded in this dimension. The Oracle can transcend this dimension and thereby see a bigger picture. Most importantly it is keenly connected to guiding us towards achieving what we have been born to do. It will subtly and on occasion abruptly push us towards achieving our Incarnation Objective or Life Path (see explanation in my upcoming post).

In a situation that is not necessarily "personal" we can still ask several questions to gain insight into what may be going on. I do not encourage asking questions in such a way that it appears that you are spying. If you approach the Oracle like 007, then you will be quite succinctly told to "take care of your own affairs." The Oracle will not comply to your desire to spy on a person or situation. It will throw hexagrams at you like #4 Youthful Folly, #52 Keeping Still, #29 Abysmal Water, #33 Retreat, #61 Inner Truth, #44 Coming To Meet, or some other reading that makes no sense and seems to put the spotlight on you and not on the person, place or thing you are spying on.

So in this article, we will explore the situation around the missing MH370-777. I have asked questions in a format to create what I call, a tapestry, a picture, a diagram, a landscape that is will allow for extenuating circumstances as well as give us a repeated option by giving us the same responses.

I strongly suggest that if you are interested in learning more about the I Ching Oracle System, this would be a great way to get started. Ask these questions and see what you get. I have found that when a group of people ask about the same situation, the Hexagrams receive seem to only be slight variant as the I Ching is attempting to give us information about the situation according to where we are in the story, but also to tie things together, no matter where we are.

What Happened to MH370? Ask A Psychic Part 1

What limits many of us is the idea of alternate realities. We want to use our reality as a frame of reference yet often times our frame of reference is limited. If we do not have access to an alternate view or an understanding of a parallel universe, then the idea of different time lines is foreign to some and ludicrous to most.
With all this awakening talk, all this channeling talk and all this remote viewing talk, you would expect a deeper and more expansive worldview, but no. The individual's world view is molded and shaped by their respective external world, society, constraints and inconsistency. To even consider that the plane has been magnetically altered to the point of being shifted from this time line to another is beyond the scope of scientists, and maybe even some psychics.

The people on that plane are fine. They are either aware or unaware that they have shifted. Some may feel different, some may have weird dreams, some may question where they are and its validity, but don't we do that in this timeline, every day?

They may find themselves in a world much more progressive and willing to leap forward and become a true and peaceful member of the Cosmic/Galactic Community.

Whatever the case may be, as a Psychic myself, i understand our limitations. There is too much to know for any ONE person to know it all. It is time for the PTB to confess to the world that there is more going on than meets the eye, that they have done their experiments and that they know exactly what it means when a plane "vanishes" into thin air.

Nothing is so grounded, so solid, so immutable that it can not be changed or altered. If they return, they will have no memory of their experience.

People are grieving and sad because they lost someone they love. This is what we are taught. If they are dead, they are not in pain... if they are alive in their other holographic world, love them, release them and carry their memory without fear and sorrow.

They have made transition and they will probably never come back. Bless them and send them love and light and let them go.

And if it turns out that what I have just written cannot be verified in this time-space continuum, or a plane is actually recovered... it does not mean that what has been expressed by me or other psychics did not occur. The unseen world can present many variant themes, alternatives and outcomes. So, in some way, all of these scenarios are possible and are happening somewhere, in the past, present or future, as we measure time.?

This video contains my thoughts on the matter and I have also included below, the hexagrams I received when I queried the I Ching. Personally, I think that having a back up system of inquiry is a good thing for Psychics. People are looking for verifiable information and as a result, Psychics who do not have a backup system are berated and ridiculed. While the process of consulting the I Ching can be question by any skeptic, one need only study the Oracle, look at the Hexagrams and the changing lines as it relates to the questions and see that there is something "UNSEEN" going on.
